Gaius Baltar, there’s someone she wasn’t expecting, or hoping to run into. Or hoping she wouldn’t run into him for at least a while. After a moment of internalized panic about the man who hated her but didn’t know he hated her she smiled brightly.
“Kasumi Goto,” she extended a hand, which was probably awkward from her upside-down position on the plush chair. It also sounded like he was trying to hit on her, which was probably a positive thing.
At least it was better than trying to strangle her or something. That was the typical response from gentleman she’d stolen things from and then antagonized.
