"I do sleep," Gaius corrects. "Just probably not as much as everyone else on the ship. I've been known to fall asleep at my desk from time to time. It'd help, I think, if I had someone to go back to once I finished an evening's work."
Gaius turns as she gestures towards his notes. The notes someone had stolen from him. Thankfully, some of them had been returned -- but not all of them.
"Those," he says. "Were my notes. Are my notes, technically. I don't know if you saw the e-mail, but someone stole them from me. I still don't have all of them back in my possession."
He presses a hand against one of the sheets in an attempt to straighten out the crinkles, but they're hopelessly crumpled. No amount of straightening will iron them straight. "They were mostly covering my research on the blood samples Dr. Bashir and I collected. Nanites and all."
